Samenvatting

The book Optical Measurement techniques for Systems and Structures III is the third volume of the OPTIMESS series. It contains a review contribution by Steve Rothberg and 36 original research papers giving an overview of the state of the art in optical measurement techniques and their applications in science and industry. Chapters deal with a number of different optical measurement methods such as laser vibrometry, digital image correlation, digital holography, speckle techniques, microtomography and more. A wide field of applications is covered, ranging from automotive and building to biomedical. All chapters have been reviewed by experts in the field and have been revised according to their suggestions. The book contains numerous color figures and photographs to support text and equations.
