Samenvatting | Investigating the magnetic properties of iron cores enables improvements in efficiency and the reduction of energy losses in electrical machines. An advanced magnetization model that is capable of more accurately and efficiently predicting the performance of ferromagnetic materials becomes essential for the development of electrical machines in an early production cycle.
This research presented efficient vector hysteresis models for anisotropic ferromagnetic materials in a physical and thermodynamic approach, providing accurate and insightful predictions of their magnetic properties. The models were incorporated into FE simulations in primal and dual ways, avoiding the need for time consuming model inversions. The proposed approaches showed great potential for practical applications in design optimization and performance evaluation of electromagnetic devices. Further research can explore extending the models to account for magnetodynamic scenario and thermal effects and investigate additional applications in the field of electromagnetic devices. |
